FAQs

  • It is completely study at your own pace so you can take as long as you need to graduate. The content can take anywhere from 2 months to 2 years depending on how often you are able to study.

  • Yes! We put out emails calling for scholarship applications every few months. We also have a discount code for BIPOC that is 1000 CAD off. Please email us at info@beingmethod.co for the code. BIPOC discounts are for those who are Black, Indigenous, or people of colour.

  • No refunds on the course but we do have a success guarantee. If you follow the steps and don’t earn your money back in 6 months we will keep coaching you until you do. :)

  • There is a monthly call with MJ which includes a talk on a certain theme and a Q&A period. They are recorded and put into the zoom recordings section. They are typically on a Tuesday evening at 5pm est or Sat at 9am est and an email will be sent out before them to remind everyone.

  • At the end of the course you will be certified in breathwork facilitation and quantum energy healing. Our course does not teach “techniques” but we teach the basic physiology and science behind these modalities. This means you will leave the course with an actual understanding of breathwork, not just techniques to repeate. This course is for people that want to explain the science behind these modalities.

  • The content is written with a video workshop for most modules. Most of the videos have subtitles.

MJ Renshaw
Founder, Being Method


MJ Renshaw is a mother, a wifey, a rock collector, and the founder of The Being Method. She started TBM in 2020 after struggling to find a course that blended both science and spirituality. She also struggled to find a breathwork course that was trauma informed and from a more feminine perspective on healing.

She studied Philosophy in her undergrad, then went on to do a post-grad in Osteopathy. She did her first breathwork facilitator training in 2013. She blends all of her education together to offer knowledge in this course.
